                            Rebecca Angerer, 36 years young

My name is Rebecca Angerer and I am a recovering addict. I have been in and out of jail since the age of 18. I started using drugs at the age of 16. I had lost my children by not being there for them. I made many bad choices in my life. Every day that goes by I know I have to work even harder for myself, my children, and my family. I have been sober now 13 months and learning how to live life on life's terms. At the age of 35 I ended up in prison; somewhere I thought I would never go again, again due to drugs. Today, I plan to learn how to make better choices for myself and my way of living. I am now living at the Sand Dollar Discovery House. Since being on the program I have mostly learned about humility, something I always shut down. Each and every day I learn something more about myself and the program and I am very thankful to the program. I now know that God has a plan for me and I trust in Him.

My name is Augustine Blevins. I used to be an addict. I used to run the streets and living a life that started me to go in and out of jail for sales of drugs since the age of 21 years old. I eventually ended up going to prison 3 different times. I have given a lot of my life away to this way of living. The last time I was released from prison, I asked God to walk out the gate with me and He did. God is still helping me because He sent me to Sand Dollar, a place that I have found is good for me. Since I have been at Sand Dollar I have learned how to look at things in a good way and how to look at myself and the inner self of me and my life and how to look at the positive things in life. I just love the program it is helping me very much.
